Calgary, AB – Kurt Thorner scored two goals and added an assist as the Goldenhawks extended its winning streak to eight games with a 8-2 trouncing over the New Jori Devils at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Goldenhawks was Marco Bernardo with two goals and Dennis Hall, Dan Warkentin, Austin Warkentin and Austin Smith each contributing with single markers. Hall added three assists, Warkentin and Warkentin each added two assists. Goaltender Nik Bregeda picked up the victory for the Goldenhawks giving up two goals.

Providing the offence for the New Jori Devils was Sam Woods and Adam Chin with a goal each. Goaltender Matt Philip surrendered eight goals in the loss for the New Jori Devils.

With the victory, the Goldenhawks improve to 19-7-1-0 while the New Jori Devils fall to 4-20-3-0.
