Calgary, AB – Kurt Thorner scored a hat-trick as the Goldenhawks extended its winning streak to six games with a 7-3 whipping over the Beefcakes at Norma Bush on Tuesday.

Completing the scoring for for the Goldenhawks was Dennis Hall with two goals, Austin Smith and Darren Schurman chipping in with singles. Cory Fraser added four assists, Cole Percifield, Liam Wiese and Austin Warkentin each added two assists. Goaltender Nik Bregeda picked up the victory for the Goldenhawks giving up three goals.

Finding the twine for the Beefcakes was Ryan Hunt, Matthew Vanderberg and Tanner Lomsnes chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Braedon Fleming surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Beefcakes.

With the victory, the Goldenhawks improve to 17-7-1-0 while the Beefcakes fall to 12-9-4-0.
