Calgary, AB – Kyle Myden scored four goals to help secure the IceCats a victory in an 8-4 trouncing over the Tropics at Village Square on Saturday.

Adding markers for the IceCats was Mathew Jobin and Jason Nugent, Nik Cooper and Matt Paterson with a goal each. Jobin added two assists. Goaltender Darryl Leray picked up the victory for the IceCats giving up four goals.

Providing the offence for the Tropics was Kale Smith with two goals and Roger Rouault and Matt Bush each contributing with single markers. Noah Melnychuk added two assists. Goaltender John Frazer surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Tropics.

With the victory, the IceCats improve to 10-12-2-0 while the Tropics fall to 7-17-0-0.
