Calgary, AB – Jordan Vine scored six goals and added three assists to guide the Blackout to a 14-3 throttling over the Flying Elbows at Optimist on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Blackout was Matt Brosh with a hat-trick, Nathan Wood with two goals, Kevin Shaw and Phil Bamber and Marcus Head each adding single tallies. Shaw, Bamber and Jordan Moe each added four assists, Vine, Brosh and Head each added three assists and Russell Wazney added two assists. Goaltender Chase Simard picked up the win for the Blackout giving up three goals.

Cashing in for the Flying Elbows was Steve Tuckey, Tim Fournier and Murray Walter chipping in with a goal each. Michael Soumis-St-Laurent added three assists. Goaltender Jacob Scott surrendered 14 goals in the loss for the Flying Elbows.

With the win, the Blackout improve to 10-13-1-0 while the Flying Elbows fall to 15-7-2-0.
