Calgary, AB – Kevin Robertson scored eight goals and added two assists for the Beefcakes and Kurt Thorner scored six goals and added an assist for the Goldenhawks as the teams battled to a 12-12 tie at George Blundun on Saturday.

Also scoring for the Goldenhawks was Austin Smith with four strikes and Cole Percifield and Will Leblanc each adding a goal. Austin Warkentin added six assists, Percifield added four assists, Jaime Clague added three assists and Smith added two assists. Goaltender James Duke surrendered 12 goals in the tie for the Goldenhawks.

Also scoring for the Beefcakes was Matthew Vanderberg with two goals and Ryan Hunt and Ryan Wales each adding single goals. Tanner Lomsnes added six assists, Vanderberg added four assists, Brett Person and Jamie Hunt each added three assists and Robertson added two assists. Goaltender Broedy Gaschler gave up 12 goals in the tie for the Beefcakes.

After the tie, the Beefcakes have a record of 10-5-3-0 while the Goldenhawks move to 11-6-1-0.
