Calgary, AB – Craig Dworschak scored a hat-trick including his eighth goal of the season with 0:49 remaining in the third period and and added an assist to guide the Tropics to a 4-3 conquest over the Smokin' Guns at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Tropics was and Sean Tarnowsky with a single tally. Goaltender John Frazer picked up the win for the Tropics giving up three goals.

Cashing in for the Smokin' Guns was Chris Goodall, Joel Manson and Ajay Mattu chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender James McGivern surrendered four goals in the loss for the Smokin' Guns.

With the win, the Tropics improve to 3-5-0-0 while the Smokin' Guns fall to 5-3-0-0.
