McNair tallies pair, Rangers thrash Kings

Calgary, AB – Matt McNair scored two goals and added two assists as the Rangers extended its winning streak to six games with a 7-3 whipping over the Kings at George Blundun on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Rangers was Ryan Forsythe with two goals and Kyle Gurash, Petr Prochazka and Ryan Gussak chipping in with singles. Austin Ehret and Shaun Harris each added four assists and McNair added two assists. Goaltender Layton Draper picked up the victory for the Rangers giving up three goals.

Finding the twine for the Kings was Charles Abbott, Mathieu Bisson and Brooks Raven chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Kings.

With the victory, the Rangers improve to 7-1-0-0 while the Kings fall to 1-7-0-0.
