Calgary, AB – Matthew Bell scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help the Ice Goats to a 7-4 win over the Smokin' Guns at Frank McCool on Friday.

Also scoring for the Ice Goats was Jeff Mikalishen and Craig Stewart, Tim Robinson and Brandon Kiist with a goal each. Cole Brewis added two assists. Goaltender Sean Beauparlant picked up the win for the Ice Goats giving up four goals.

Striking for the Smokin' Guns was Seamus Boyd with two goals and Khi Mattu and Evan Ives each adding a goal. Aurn Mattu added two assists. Goaltender Jeremy Walls surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Smokin' Guns.

The loss snuffed out the Smokin' Guns' five-game winning streak.

With the win, the Ice Goats improve to 3-2-1-0 while the Smokin' Guns fall to 5-1-0-0.
