Calgary, AB – Connor Taylor scored two goals and added four assists to guide The Herd to an 11-3 throttling over the Goats at Southland on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for The Herd was Kyle Harrison and Kyle Fry and Devin Reagan with a pair of goals each, Jaren Turnquist, Bryce Salverda and Mitchell Wolfe each adding single tallies. Taylor added four assists, Tyler Witzke added three assists, Turnquist and Dylan Wenzel each added two assists. Goaltender Devin Reagan picked up the win for The Herd giving up three goals.

Cashing in for the Goats was Zach Carter with two goals and Jakob Lapointe with a single marker. Cale Louden added two assists. Goaltender Zee Hamilton surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the Goats.

With the win, The Herd improve to 1-2-0-0 while the Goats fall to 2-1-0-0.
