Calgary, AB – Cory Fraser scored four goals and added three assists to fuel the Goldenhawks to a 10-2 thrashing over the Bears at Henry Viney on Monday.

Capping off the scoring for the Goldenhawks was Marco Bernardo and Dennis Hall with a pair of goals each and Rob Cottam and Liam Wiese each tallying single markers. Fraser and Bernardo each added three assists, Cottam, Austin Smith, Austin Warkentin and Tyson Smith each added two assists. Goaltender Nik Bregeda picked up the win for the Goldenhawks giving up two goals.

Sniping for the Bears was Tyler Yamashiro and Curtis De Bruyn contributing with a goal each. Troy Miller added two assists. Goaltender Nathan Hargrave surrendered 10 goals in the loss for the Bears.

With the win, the Goldenhawks improve to 1-1-0-0 while the Bears fall to 1-1-0-0.
