Calgary, AB – Tanner Lomsnes scored his second goal of the season with 1:01 remaining in the third period and Fraser Grant scored a hat-trick to help fuel the Beefcakes to an 11-10 conquest over The Herd at Norma Bush on Tuesday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Beefcakes was Kevin Robertson and Doug Evans, Garrick Perry, Ryan Graham and Matt Scrivens each adding single tallies. Evans added three assists, Perry, Matthew Vanderberg. Goaltender Broedy Gaschler picked up the win for the Beefcakes giving up 10 goals.

Cashing in for The Herd was Owen Guenter and Ethan Trampuh with a pair of goals each, Connor Taylor, Dillon Matthews, Tyler Witzke, Jaren Turnquist, Kyle Fry and Devin Barlow chipping in with a goal each. Taylor, Kyle Harrison, Bryan Weber and Evan Loura each added two assists. Goaltender Devin Reagan surrendered 10 goals in the loss for The Herd.

Lomsnes added an empty-netter with 1:01 left in the third period to seal the win for the Beefcakes.

With the win, the Beefcakes improve to 1-0-0-0 while The Herd fall to 0-1-0-0.
