Calgary, AB – Greg Lamoureux scored a hat-trick and added an assist to fuel the Bears to an 11-5 thrashing over the New Jori Devils at Henry Viney on Monday.

Capping off the scoring for the Bears was Tyler Yamashiro and Nic Nolet with a pair of goals each and Brett Switzer, Troy Miller, Pierre Girard and Samuel Coyne contributing with a goal each. Switzer added four assists, Curtis De Bruyn added three assists, Dustin Gilbert and Jesse Sabados each added two assists. Goaltender Nathan Hargrave picked up the win for the Bears giving up five goals.

Sniping for the New Jori Devils was Jonathan Forrest with two goals and Gerry Junio, Behn Watson and Ryan Pearce each tallying single markers. Sam Woods added two assists. Goaltender Matt Philip surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the New Jori Devils.

With the win, the Bears improve to 1-0-0-0 while the New Jori Devils fall to 0-1-0-0.
