Mustangs thrash Colts
Calgary, AB – Darryl MacDonald scored a goal and added an assist to lead the Mustangs to a 5-1 whipping over the Colts at Stew Hendry on Sunday.
Completing the scoring for for the Mustangs was BJ Gurba, Greg Hoffort, Joel Merkosky, Aaron Merkosky chipping in with a goal each. Brandon Boyle added two assists. Goaltender JF Voyer picked up the victory for the Mustangs holding the Colts to a single goal.
Tallying the single marker for the Colts was and Ian Dewolfe, his third of the season. Goaltender Wesley Kitchen surrendered five goals in the loss for the Colts.
With the victory, the Mustangs improve to 12-8-3-0 while the Colts fall to 12-8-3-0.
