Calgary, AB – Mathew Popowich scored two goals including his 16th goal of the season with 11:26 remaining in the third period and and added two assists to fuel the Schooners to a 5-4 conquest over the Raiders at Village Square on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Schooners was Travis Robichaud and Josh Herrick and Danny White each tallying single markers. Braden Park. Goaltender Brad Lowe picked up the win for the Schooners giving up four goals.

Sniping for the Raiders was Ryan Matthys with two goals and Kord Dagenais and Connor McCreary contributing with a goal each. Nick Chambers and Ryan Bremer each added two assists. Goaltender Jeremy Phillips surrendered five goals in the loss for the Raiders.

With the win, the Schooners improve to 12-10-1-0 while the Raiders fall to 8-11-4-0.
