Calgary, AB – Kyle Norris scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help support the Ducks 1 in a 9-5 spanking over the San Jose Sharts at Village Square on Saturday.

Adding markers for the Ducks 1 was Solomon McCann with a hat-trick, Ryan Berg and Marty Croteau and Luke Avery with a goal each. Berg added three assists, Tyler Reid, Chris Taylor and Kelton Sutherland each added two assists. Goaltender Brandon Rozzi picked up the victory for the Ducks 1 giving up five goals.

Providing the offence for the San Jose Sharts was Ethan Hayter with a hat-trick and Easton Lausberg and Mike Holowatuk each with single strikes. Lausberg and Nicolas Cej each added two assists. Goaltender Jackson Eady surrendered nine goals in the loss for the San Jose Sharts.

With the victory, the Ducks 1 improve to 15-5-2-0 while the San Jose Sharts fall to 7-12-3-0.
