Calgary, AB – Scott Towns scored a hat-trick to help lift the Flying Elbows to a 7-4 victory over the Panthers at Optimist on Saturday.

Adding markers for the Flying Elbows was Mike Parker with two goals, Shane Towns and Cole Hood each with single strikes. Tyler Young added three assists, Towns, Steve Tuckey and Lance Delafosse each added two assists. Goaltender Zach Cooke picked up the victory for the Flying Elbows giving up four goals.

Scoring for the Panthers was Mike Kruchten and Nick Boyd with a pair of goals each . Adam Jose and Todd Kathol each added two assists. Goaltender Doug Lavers surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Panthers.

With the victory, the Flying Elbows improve to 9-4-2-0 while the Panthers fall to 6-9-0-0.
