Calgary, AB – Ryan Matthys scored a hat-trick and added an assist to lift the Raiders to a 5-3 conquest over the Kings at Village Square on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Raiders was Julian Buck with two goals. Andrew Leveque and Byron Thomson each added two assists. Goaltender Jeremy Phillips picked up the win for the Raiders giving up three goals.

Sniping for the Kings was Ryan Richards with two goals and Charles Abbott with a single tally. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm surrendered four goals in the loss for the Kings.

Matthys deposited his sixth of the season into an empty net with 0:02 left in the third period to seal the win for the Raiders.

With the win, the Raiders improve to 2-3-0-0 while the Kings fall to 1-4-0-0.
