Calgary, AB – Brock Friesen scored two goals and added an assist to help secure the Night Knights a victory in a 6-4 victory over the Flying Elbows at Southland on Monday.

Completing the scoring for for the Night Knights was Adam Schwartz and Dylan Enns, Brennan Murray and Everett Sylvester chipping in with singles. Ethan Babcock, Alex Purcell and Nathan Kinnie each added two assists. Goaltender Blake Jeanson picked up the victory for the Night Knights giving up four goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Flying Elbows was Scott Towns with two goals and Kyle Christensen and Luke Helland each contributing with single markers. Goaltender Zach Cooke surrendered five goals in the loss for the Flying Elbows.

Friesen added an empty-netter with 0:02 left in the third period to seal the win for the Night Knights.

With the victory, the Night Knights improve to 3-1-0-0 while the Flying Elbows fall to 2-2-0-0.
