Calgary, AB – Jonathan Forrest scored a hat-trick for the New Jori Devils and Solomon McCann scored a hat-trick for the Ducks 1 as the teams fought to a 8-8 tie at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Ducks 1 was Kyle Burton with two goals and Chris Taylor, Jeremy Evans and Jamie Heidt each adding a goal. Marty Croteau and Kevin Macedo each added two assists. Goaltender Brandon Rozzi surrendered eight goals in the tie for the Ducks 1.

Also scoring for the New Jori Devils was Adam Forrest and Mike Petursson with a pair of goals each and Ryan Pearce with a single tally. Behn Watson added four assists, Gerry Junio and Eric Wasylenko each added two assists. Goaltender Matt Philip gave up eight goals in the tie for the New Jori Devils.

After the tie, the New Jori Devils have a record of 0-3-1-0 while the Ducks 1 move to 3-0-1-0.
