Reimer nets hat-trick, Blazers embarrass Kings
Calgary, AB – David Reimer scored a hat-trick and added five assists to help the Blazers to an 11-7 spanking over the Kings at Ernie Starr on Sunday.
Rounding out the scoring for the Blazers was Adam Adair with a hat-trick, Josh Clements with two goals, Zach Goss and Andrew Schubert and Travis Rohl with a goal each. Reimer added five assists, Peter Jones and Doug Stewart each added three assists and Adair added two assists. Goaltender Stefan Migotti picked up the win for the Blazers giving up seven goals.
Striking for the Kings was Charles Abbott with four strikes and Dustin Yeager, Jay Smith and Brian Ceelen each adding a goal. Derek Bishop added three assists and Adam McLean added two assists. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the Kings.
With the win, the Blazers improve to 12-8-0-0 while the Kings fall to 6-12-2-0.
