Calgary, AB – Sam Woods scored four goals and added an assist to help the New Jori Devils to a 9-4 spanking over The Herd at Southland on Monday.

Also scoring for the New Jori Devils was Jonathan Forrest and Behn Watson, Diego Arenas, Eric Wasylenko and Rob Deis each adding a goal. Adam Forrest added five assists, Watson, Forrest, John Schipilow and Mike Petursson each added two assists. Goaltender Matt Philip picked up the win for the New Jori Devils giving up four goals.

Lighting the lamp for The Herd was Tyler Witzke, Mitchell Wolfe, Evan Loura and Dylan Defosse with a goal each. Goaltender Nick Ewanchuk surrendered nine goals in the loss for The Herd.

With the win, the New Jori Devils improve to 2-8-2-0 while The Herd fall to 3-8-1-0.
