Smith tallies five, Wolf Pack guide past Raiders
Calgary, AB – Devin Smith scored five goals to guide the Wolf Pack to an 8-5 conquest over the Raiders at Ernie Starr on Sunday.
Rounding out the scoring for the Wolf Pack was Matt Price and Brian Stasiak and Travis Skladan each adding single tallies. Cody Carey added three assists, Price, Danny Way and Jordan Brothers each added two assists. Goaltender Jason Siri picked up the win for the Wolf Pack giving up five goals.
Cashing in for the Raiders was Ryan Matthys with two goals and Ryan Bremer, Kord Dagenais and Kehl Snyder chipping in with a goal each. Matthys added two assists. Goaltender Jeremy Phillips surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Raiders.
Smith added an empty-netter with 0:50 left in the third period to seal the win for the Wolf Pack.
With the win, the Wolf Pack improve to 4-7-0-0 while the Raiders fall to 4-6-1-0.
