Calgary, AB – Brett Switzer scored five goals and added six assists as the Bears extended its winning streak to five games with a 22-8 whipping over the San Jose Sharts at Optimist on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Bears was Cameron Lamoureux with four strikes, Nic Nolet with four strikes, Pierre Girard with a hat-trick, Troy Miller with two goals, Ben Gazdic and Tyler Yamashiro, Curtis De Bruyn and Mike Winnitoy chipping in with a goal each. Lamoureux and Girard each added seven assists, Gazdic added four assists, Yamashiro and De Bruyn each added three assists. Goaltender Udo Kaufmann picked up the victory for the Bears giving up eight goals.

Finding the twine for the San Jose Sharts was Carson Taylor with five goals and Matthew Koch with a hat-trick . Taylor and Sam Forgrave each added three assists, Koch, Colton Gerlitz and Zackery Dubiel each added two assists. Goaltender Jackson Eady surrendered 22 goals in the loss for the San Jose Sharts.

With the victory, the Bears improve to 8-1-1-0 while the San Jose Sharts fall to 2-6-2-0.
