Calgary, AB – Brett Switzer scored two goals to help the Bears to a 6-4 win over the Beefcakes at Flames Community Arenas - Red on Saturday.

Also scoring for the Bears was Samuel Coyne with two goals and Nic Nolet and Lane Wagner each adding a goal. Nolet, Curtis De Bruyn and Tyler Gartner each added two assists. Goaltender Nathan Hargrave picked up the win for the Bears giving up four goals.

Striking for the Beefcakes was Kevin Robertson, Matthew Vanderberg, Brian Moore and Garrick Perry with a goal each. Chris Jordan and Brett Person each added two assists. Goaltender Broedy Gaschler surrendered six goals in the loss for the Beefcakes.

The setback halted the Beefcakes' four-game winning streak.

With the win, the Bears improve to 3-1-0-0 while the Beefcakes fall to 5-2-0-0.
