Calgary, AB – Colby Mooney scored two goals to fuel the Ducks to a 5-1 thrashing over the Panthers at Stew Hendry on Wednesday.

Capping off the scoring for the Ducks was Adam Klein and Samuel Reid and Nathan Sanderson contributing with a goal each. Klein and Dan Arnold each added two assists. Goaltender Todd Ashbon picked up the win for the Ducks holding the Panthers to a single goal.

Tallying the single marker for the Panthers was and Logan Maddin, his first of the playoffs. Goaltender Doug Lavers surrendered five goals in the loss for the Panthers.

With the win, the Ducks improve to 2-1-0-0 while the Panthers fall to 2-2-0-0.
