Calgary, AB – Jesse Steranko scored two goals to lead the Beefcakes to a 5-2 triumph over The Herd at Henry Viney on Monday.

Completing the scoring for for the Beefcakes was Kevin Robertson and Matthew Vanderberg and Marc Rancourt chipping in with a goal each. Robertson and Jeff Sapieha each added two assists. Goaltender Broedy Gaschler picked up the victory for the Beefcakes giving up two goals.

Finding the twine for The Herd was Jagger Theissen and Kyle Harrison chipping in with singles. Goaltender Devin Reagan surrendered five goals in the loss for The Herd.

With the victory, the Beefcakes improve to 3-1-0-0 while The Herd fall to 1-2-0-0.
