Calgary, AB – Derrick Moore* scored two goals and added two assists to help secure the Icehogs a victory in an 11-7 trouncing over the Rustlers at George Blundun on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Icehogs was Don Campbell* with a hat-trick, Brent Gosselin* with two goals and Mike Tanton*, Chris Kemp*, Shawn Foster* and Tim Norrick* each contributing with single markers. Bill Stait* added four assists, Kemp* and Tanton* each added three assists, Kevin Free*. Goaltender Jody Stevens* picked up the victory for the Icehogs giving up seven goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Rustlers was Carey Ernewein* with a hat-trick, Rob Koller with two goals and Tyler Hawrlyuk and Brett Watts* chipping in with singles. Kevin Leonard* added five assists. Goaltender Jared Wesley surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the Rustlers.

With the victory, the Icehogs improve to 15-2-2-0 while the Rustlers fall to 4-15-0-0.
