Calgary, AB – Matt Brodie scored two goals and added two assists to spark the Grasshoppers to an 11-8 win over the Schooners at Frank McCool on Friday.

Also scoring for the Grasshoppers was Colin Hughes and Reid Marshall with a pair of goals each, Elliott Sephton, Cody Hibbert, James Dunphy, Sean Murray and Sebastian Gregoire each adding single goals. Sephton added four assists, Lance Davidson and Duane Smith each added three assists, Brodie, Hibbert and Andy Walsh each added two assists. Goaltender Brandon Senholt picked up the win for the Grasshoppers giving up eight goals.

The victory extinguished the Grasshoppers' three-game losing streak.

Lighting the lamp for the Schooners was Travis Robichaud with a hat-trick, Josh Herrick with a hat-trick and Tyler Penner and Dennis Holder each adding a goal. Darrren Macissac and Danny White each added three assists, Penner and Scott Jenks each added two assists. Goaltender Brad Lowe surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the Schooners.

With the win, the Grasshoppers improve to 1-3-0-0 while the Schooners fall to 1-3-0-0.
