Calgary, AB – Nick Derhun scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help support the 3rd Liners in a 10-8 victory over the Ice Goats at Optimist on Sunday.

Adding markers for the 3rd Liners was Leif Berg with two goals, Seamus O'Toole and Chris Horton, Michael McCoy, Aidan Jackson and Connor Kendall with a goal each. O'Toole, Luke McDougall and Aiden Strachan each added two assists. Goaltender Eric Pitura picked up the victory for the 3rd Liners giving up eight goals.

The victory extinguished the 3rd Liners' four-game losing streak.

Scoring for the Ice Goats was Matthew Bell and Zachary Duncan with a pair of goals each, Brandon Kiist, Steve Barker, Michael Chun and Shaun Hunter each with single strikes. Kiist added three assists, Bell, Graydon Ahern, Craig Stewart and Cole Brewis each added two assists. Goaltender Sean Beauparlant surrendered 10 goals in the loss for the Ice Goats.

With the victory, the 3rd Liners improve to 10-16-4-0 while the Ice Goats fall to 13-14-3-0.
