Calgary, AB – Mathew Popowich scored five goals to help lift the Schooners to a 7-4 victory over the Night Knights at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Schooners was Travis Robichaud and Scott Jenks each adding single goals. Robichaud added five assists and Danny White added two assists. Goaltender Brad Lowe picked up the victory for the Schooners giving up four goals.

Scoring for the Night Knights was Alex Purcell, Derek Janzen, Nate Belanger and Dayne Greiner each with single strikes. Adam Schwartz added two assists. Goaltender Jeff Enns surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Night Knights.

With the victory, the Schooners improve to 8-11-2-0 while the Night Knights fall to 6-14-1-0.
