Calgary, AB – Kyle Thompson scored two goals and added two assists to help the Smokin' Guns to an 8-5 win over the Mile High Club at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Smokin' Guns was Clifton O'Brien and Joel Manson with a pair of goals each, Evan Ives and Chris Goodall with a goal each. Thompson, Ives and Wade Forshner each added two assists. Goaltender James McGivern picked up the win for the Smokin' Guns giving up five goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Mile High Club was Brendan Bennett with two goals and Mark Rollo, Michael Di Lullo and Mike Sousa each adding a goal. Gary McIvor and Tyler Bull each added two assists. Goaltender Kevin Barron surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Mile High Club.

The loss snuffed out the Mile High Club's three-game winning streak.

With the win, the Smokin' Guns improve to 5-1-0-0 while the Mile High Club fall to 3-1-2-0.
