Calgary, AB – Logan Gabel scored his first goal of the season with 0:02 remaining in the third period and Mike Buydens scored two goals to help the Ducks to a 6-5 win over the Missiles at Southland on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Ducks was Nolan Kwasney and Adam Klein, Mathew Lafrance with a goal each. Kwasney and Nathan Sanderson each added two assists. Goaltender Nick Rawlings picked up the win for the Ducks giving up five goals.

Striking for the Missiles was Matt MacDonald with a hat-trick and Matt Quigley and Jairus Maus each adding a goal. Nick Cooling added two assists. Goaltender Tristin Quiring surrendered six goals in the loss for the Missiles.

With the win, the Ducks improve to 1-0-0-0 while the Missiles fall to 0-1-0-0.
