Calgary, AB – Jeff Sapieha scored a hat-trick and added three assists to help fuel the Beefcakes to a 10-3 pounding over The Herd at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Beefcakes was Matthew Vanderberg with a hat-trick, Kevin Robertson with two goals, Garrick Perry and Marc Rancourt chipping in with a goal each. Robertson, Vanderberg and Brett Person each added two assists. Goaltender Broedy Gaschler picked up the win for the Beefcakes giving up three goals.

Striking for The Herd was Tyler Witzke with two goals and Owen Guentes with a single tally. Goaltender Thomas Vaughn surrendered 10 goals in the loss for The Herd.

With the win, the Beefcakes improve to 12-6-4-0 while The Herd fall to 11-6-5-0.
