Calgary, AB – Shawn Bornais scored two goals and added an assist to help bring the Cyclones to a 6-3 triumph over the Fat n Lazy at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Cyclones was Roger Meyer and Tim Mayer, Ryan Toovey and Dan Romano chipping in with a goal each. Meyer added four assists. Goaltender Rick Hoyt picked up the victory for the Cyclones giving up 0 goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Fat n Lazy was Brad Vescarelli with two goals and Neil Pelletier with a single tally. Goaltender Grant Dreger surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Fat n Lazy.

Toovey deposited his 12th of the season into an empty net with 0:30 left in the third period to seal the win for the Cyclones.

With the victory, the Cyclones improve to 5-4-1-0 while the Fat n Lazy fall to 1-8-0-0.
