Calgary, AB – Jim Gillies* scored two goals and added two assists to lift the Blades to a 6-3 conquest over the Chiefs at Norma Bush on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Blades was Rob Beecher* and Marty Paugh*, Chris Deschainie and Dave Vass* each tallying single markers. Beecher* and Dave Wind* each added three assists and Gillies* added two assists. Goaltender Kelly Carlson* picked up the win for the Blades giving up 0 goals.

Sniping for the Chiefs was Tom Smith (*) with two goals and Chris Budra (*) with a single marker. Goaltender Blaine MacKeil (*) surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Chiefs.

With the win, the Blades improve to 3-10-0-0 while the Chiefs fall to 5-7-1-0.
