Calgary, AB – Gord MacLean* scored a hat-trick and added an assist as the Icemen erased a four-goal deficit and extended their winning streak to four games with a 9-7 conquest over the BDR Angers at Optimist on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Icemen was MIke Klassen* and Garnet Horne* with a pair of goals each and Kevin Kemp* and Corbin Coyes* contributing with a goal each. Kemp*, Daren Fech* and Chad Coyes* each added two assists. Goaltender Travis Copp* picked up the win for the Icemen giving up 0 goals.

Cashing in for the BDR Angers was Colin Ranger* with two goals and Chris McDavid*, Ryan Paulgaard *, Wally Fizer*, Chris Morrison and Tim Rattua each adding single tallies. McDavid* and Marty Holzinger* each added two assists. Goaltender Marcello Leonardis* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the BDR Angers.

The BDR Angers jumped out to a 5-1 lead when Rattua scored his second of the season with 3:36 left in the first period but MacLean* responded for the Icemen with his 10th of the season to start the rally.

With the win, the Icemen improve to 9-3-1-0 while the BDR Angers fall to 5-8-0-0.
