Calgary, AB – Adam Schwartz scored his first goal of the playoffs with 7:35 remaining in the first period and Toby Funk scored a goal and added an assist to lift the Night Knights to a 3-2 conquest over the Grasshoppers at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the Night Knights was Sam Kinnie with a single tally. Everett Sylvester added three assists. Goaltender Danny Eisenberg picked up the win for the Night Knights giving up two goals.

Contributing the only offence for the Grasshoppers was Elliott Sephton with two goals. Franco Colapaolo added two assists. Goaltender Austyn Melin surrendered three goals in the loss for the Grasshoppers.

With the win, the Night Knights improve to 1-0-0-0 while the Grasshoppers fall to 0-1-0-0.
