Calgary, AB – Brent McClocklin scored a hat-trick and added three assists to lift the Hopewell Hurricanes to a 12-1 clobbering over the Old Time Flyers at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Martin Carter and Paul Taylor with a pair of goals each and John Doyle, Lane Tamagi, Brent Snyder, Jeff Snyder and Aaron Cowley contributing with a goal each. Steve Griffin added five assists, Doyle, Doug Pickell, Tamagi added two assists. Goaltender Mark Flath picked up the win for the Hopewell Hurricanes holding the Old Time Flyers to a single goal.

Tallying the lone goal for the Old Time Flyers was and Mike Costello, his first of the season. Goaltender Greg Fox surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Old Time Flyers.

With the win, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 3-5-0-0 while the Old Time Flyers fall to 2-5-0-0.
