Calgary, AB – Jay Brown* scored two goals and added an assist as the Melrose Cafe extended its winning streak to five games with a 11-2 trouncing over the Old Time Flyers at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Melrose Cafe was Keith McLarty* and Mike Mullenix* with a pair of goals each, Jim Gagnon*, Garnet Klassen*, Jeff Golby*, Dave Quinn* and Adam Brown* with a goal each. Gagnon* added three assists, Brett Norrie* and Tony Piattelli* each added two assists. Goaltender BJ Sawchuk* picked up the victory for the Melrose Cafe giving up 0 goals.

Providing the offence for the Old Time Flyers was Trevor Babyak* and Ryan Siever* each contributing with single markers. Goaltender Alan Montain* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Old Time Flyers.

With the victory, the Melrose Cafe improve to 6-1-0-0 while the Old Time Flyers fall to 1-4-0-0.
