Calgary, AB – Rich Dusevic * scored his ninth goal of the season with 7:01 remaining in the third period and Neil Pelletier* scored two goals to lead the Fat n Lazy to an 8-7 triumph over the Fish n Flatlanders at Optimist on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Fat n Lazy was Cory Whittingham with two goals, Kieran Longworth*, Sheldon Dyck*, Scott Wilson* chipping in with a goal each. Longworth* and Frank Swanberg* each added two assists. Goaltender Grant Dreger* picked up the victory for the Fat n Lazy giving up 0 goals.

Finding the twine for the Fish n Flatlanders was Jeff Wong* with a hat-trick, Kevin Warren* with two goals and Jeff Wareham* and Ryan Hoover* chipping in with singles. Wong* and Grant McGowan each added two assists. Goaltender Cam Corbett* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Fish n Flatlanders.

With the victory, the Fat n Lazy improve to 4-2-1-0 while the Fish n Flatlanders fall to 2-5-0-0.
