Calgary, AB – Shawn Lowe* scored a hat-trick and added three assists to lead the Blades to a 10-2 whipping over the Rustlers at George Blundun on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Blades was Dave Wind*, Mike Woychyshyn* and Dave Vass* with a pair of goals each and Marty Paugh* with a single tally. Lowe* and Chris Rowe* each added three assists, Wind*, Doug Vass* and Paul Cochrane* each added two assists. Goaltender Graeme Rowe* picked up the victory for the Blades giving up 0 goals.

The victory extinguished the Blades' three-game losing streak.

Finding the twine for the Rustlers was Nick Darling* and Adam Peters* chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Jared Wesley surrendered 10 goals in the loss for the Rustlers.

With the victory, the Blades improve to 1-3-0-0 while the Rustlers fall to 0-4-0-0.
