Calgary, AB – Pierre Girard scored two goals and added three assists to guide the Bears to a 7-2 throttling over the Beefcakes at Flames Community Arenas on Monday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Bears was Brett Switzer and Christian Chivilo with a pair of goals each and Dakota Leppa with a single marker. Switzer, Curtis Debruyn added two assists. Goaltender Nathan Hargrave picked up the win for the Bears giving up two goals.

Cashing in for the Beefcakes was Kevin Robertson and Garrick Perry each adding single tallies. Goaltender Todd Ashton surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Beefcakes.

With the win, the Bears improve to 2-1-0-0 while the Beefcakes fall to 1-2-0-0.
