Calgary, AB – Nolan Steer scored a hat-trick and added an assist as The Herd extended its winning streak to five games with a 8-5 win over the Bears at Flames Community Arenas on Saturday.

Also scoring for The Herd was Tyler Witzke with a hat-trick, Nic Jordan and Dylan Defosse each adding a goal. Jaren Turnquist added five assists, Gavin Lawrie and Booker Chacalias each added two assists. Goaltender Devin Reagan picked up the victory for The Herd giving up five goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Bears was Troy Miller and Pierre Girard with a pair of goals each and Tyler Yamashiro with a single tally. Doug Jessey, Brett Switzer, Jason Driedger and Curtis Debruyn each added two assists. Goaltender Scott Bowles surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Bears.

With the victory, The Herd improve to 5-0-0-0 while the Bears fall to 2-2-0-1.
