Calgary, AB – Nic Jordan scored a hat-trick to help lift The Herd to a 6-3 victory over the Goats at Optimist on Sunday.

Also scoring for The Herd was Jaren Turnquist and Evan Loura and Gavin Lawrie each adding single goals. Levi Young added three assists, Turnquist and Tyler Witzke each added two assists. Goaltender Devin Reagan picked up the victory for The Herd giving up three goals.

Scoring for the Goats was Carson Taylor, Daylen Pearson and Alex Przibislaw each with single strikes. Taylor added two assists. Goaltender Zee Hamilton surrendered six goals in the loss for the Goats.

With the victory, The Herd improve to 1-0-0-0 while the Goats fall to 0-1-0-0.
