Calgary, AB – Joe Jacobs scored two goals and added an assist for the Samsquantches and Tony Yang scored a hat-trick and added an assist for the Grasshoppers as the teams played to a 7-7 tie at Norma Bush on Tuesday.

Completing the scoring for for the Grasshoppers was James Dunphy, Kyle Rosolowski, Sebastian Gregoire and Duane Smith each contributing with single markers. Dunphy added four assists and Franco Colapaolo added two assists. Goaltender Nathan Van Gelder surrendered seven goals in the tie for the Grasshoppers.

Completing the scoring for for the Samsquantches was John Jose, Brodie Chernichen, Jakub Kluz, Mike Jones and Tyler Trilsbeck chipping in with singles. Jose added three assists, Aaron Merkosky and Dan Macinnes each added two assists. Goaltender Peter Sombyk gave up seven goals in the tie for the Samsquantches.

After the tie, the Samsquantches have a record of 5-8-6-0 while the Grasshoppers move to 6-8-5-0.
