Calgary, AB – Kyle Thompson scored four goals and added an assist to spark the Smokin' Guns to an 11-4 pummeling over the Tailgaters at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Smokin' Guns was Chris Goodall and Jeremy Broughton with a pair of goals each and Joel Manson, Trevor Wilde and AJ Mastromartino each adding a goal. Laurent Truong added three assists, Manson, Wilde and Mike Podwalski each added two assists. Goaltender James McGivern picked up the win for the Smokin' Guns giving up four goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Tailgaters was Alex Chow with two goals and Trevor Chown and Logan Harris each adding single goals. Chow added two assists. Goaltender Todd Bettison surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the Tailgaters.

With the win, the Smokin' Guns improve to 14-10-6-0 while the Tailgaters fall to 4-20-4-0.

UP NEXT: The Tailgaters are back at it on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 8:30 PM at Village Square when they battle the Ice Goats. The Smokin' Guns have no more games on the 2022 / 2023 schedule.
