Calgary, AB – Dean Setoguchi scored two goals to help secure the Panthers a victory in a 6-4 victory over the 3rd Liners at Optimist on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Panthers was Matt Buchholz and Jeff Stewart, Sandy Quilty and Ken Kornylo with a goal each. Todd Kathol added three assists and Vince Niro added two assists. Goaltender Doug Lavers picked up the victory for the Panthers giving up four goals.

The victory extinguished the Panthers' three-game losing streak.

Providing the offence for the 3rd Liners was Sean Buckner with two goals and Leif Berg and Connor Kendall each contributing with single markers. Dean LeMay added two assists. Goaltender Devon Hardie surrendered six goals in the loss for the 3rd Liners.

With the victory, the Panthers improve to 11-12-4-0 while the 3rd Liners fall to 6-20-1-0.
