Calgary, AB – Cody Nunweiler scored a hat-trick and added two assists to help secure the Schooners erased a three-goal deficit and a victory in a 9-5 trouncing over the Flying Elbows at Village Square on Saturday.

Adding markers for the Schooners was Travis Robichaud and Randy Mosher with a pair of goals each and Jason Lowe and Tyler Penner with a goal each. Mosher and Robichaud each added three assists, Nunweiler and David Dow each added two assists. Goaltender Chris Atkinson picked up the victory for the Schooners giving up five goals.

Providing the offence for the Flying Elbows was Tim Fournier, Eric Nerbas, Tyler Young, Luke Helland and Colin Oke each contributing with single markers. Goaltender Jeremy Ellis surrendered nine goals in the loss for the Flying Elbows.

With the victory, the Schooners improve to 15-11-1-0 while the Flying Elbows fall to 20-4-2-0.
