Calgary, AB – Andy Walsh scored a hat-trick to help fuel the Grasshoppers to a 9-2 pounding over the Bisons at Optimist on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Grasshoppers was Tony Yang and Franco Colapaolo with a pair of goals each and Bob Storrs and Kyle Rosolowski chipping in with a goal each. Elliott Sephton added four assists, Yang, Jeff Metzger and Sebastian Gregoire each added two assists. Goaltender Austyn Melin picked up the win for the Grasshoppers giving up two goals.

Cashing in for the Bisons was Matt Quigley and Byron Simms each adding single tallies. Goaltender Tristin Quigley surrendered nine goals in the loss for the Bisons.

With the win, the Grasshoppers improve to 8-10-6-0 while the Bisons fall to 3-21-1-0.
