Calgary, AB – Aaron Skotynski scored four goals and added an assist to lead the IceCats to a 12-5 whipping over the Tailgaters at Village Square on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the IceCats was Kelly Stoodley with a hat-trick, Brady Fisher and Ben Wheeler with a pair of goals each and B Lingard with a single marker. Jeff Frederick added five assists, Lingard, Vance Alexander and Reggie Lang each added three assists, Wheeler, Fisher and Andrew Sargeant each added two assists. Goaltender Darryl Leray picked up the victory for the IceCats giving up five goals.

Finding the twine for the Tailgaters was Logan Harris with a hat-trick and Rob Bowman and Matt Jobin each tallying single markers. Matt Patterson added two assists. Goaltender Todd Bettison surrendered 12 goals in the loss for the Tailgaters.

With the victory, the IceCats improve to 12-8-2-0 while the Tailgaters fall to 3-16-4-0.
